Arena’s: The sports bar is running their 2-3-4 special, which means Miller Lites are available for $2, Fireball shots for $3 and rail mixed drinks for $4. The special runs all day Friday, continuing through until Sunday, Oct. 29. On Halloween, Arena’s will once again feature the special.
Saturday, Oct. 28
Catherine Rooney’s: The Irish pub will start serving their drink specials at 9 p.m., with music from Zodiac Jack beginning at 10 p.m.. A DJ will also provide music and entertainment with a set starting at 10 p.m. The event will include a costume contest and $5 rail drink pitchers. Visit their website following the festivities to view photos of patrons’ costumes and vote on which ones should place in the costume contest.
Santa Fe Mexican Grill: Celebrate the Day of the Dead a little early with Santa Fe. Starting at 8 p.m., expect to find Modelo drinks for $3 and live musical entertainment. Indulge in $10 dead margaritas to celebrate the spooky holiday. Dead margaritas are signature to Santa Fe and are only featured during Halloween. Make sure to wear your funniest, spookiest or most creative costume — there will be a contest.
Tuesday, Oct. 31
Deer Park Tavern: Like every Tuesday night, there will be a live, acoustic performance by Jefe at 10 p.m. Local lore and the Deer Park website say the bar was cursed by Edgar Allan Poe, so that might just make it a perfectly spooky place to enjoy Halloween.
Grotto Pizza: If you find yourself looking for pizza and Bacardi drinks instead of Snickers bars or Reese’s cups this Halloween, Grotto’s “Party With Bacardi” might be the right event for you. The event starts at 10 p.m. Entry costs $2 for attendees who have their student identification card and $5 for those who do not.
Klondike Kate’s: Starting at 9 p.m., come into Klondike Kate’s for a Halloween costume contest. The winner of the contest, voted for by the crowd, will receive a gift card to the classic American restaurant and saloon, unique to Main Street. The awarded gift card totals for first, second and third place will be $200, $100 and $50, respectively. Winners will be announced at 10 p.m.
