Our long-standing request for an interview with the interim president has been repeatedly delayed and ultimately denied until after the board of trustees meeting on Dec. 9. While we value our relationship with university administration, we also have a responsibility to our readers — in this case, providing clarity during an important moment for the university. Our letter reflects the commitment to continue reporting and upholding transparency.
